It is written 470 on the building) (Old Duane Reade building, we are not sure what it will be in 2024) DON'T BE LATE! Please come 15 minutes early to sign in.

You will be greeted by your tour guide for the day. You will sign our liability waiver, and after departure a light breakfast will be served on board the van.

On our first stop you will visit Paterson Great Falls National Historical Park. Here you will experience the second most powerful water fall on the east coast, the 77 foot Great Falls, second only to Niagara Falls. America's first planned industrial city was centered around the Great Falls of the Passaic River.

From humble mills would rise industries that changed the face of the United States. Learn about the history and view the interesting surrounding landscape. (As a size reference, notice the person standing behind the railing to the right of the falls)

Scenery around the falls.

Next, we will visit a National Historic Site, The Howell Living History Farm. This is a 130-acre farm which also is a living museum. As a visitor you will explore history by walking back in time and see farming as it was practiced in the period 1890-1910.

The animals at Howell Farm represent types that have been raised on the farm at various periods of its history. The mix of animals is typical of family farms in at the turn of the 20th century.

A pig at Howell farm. You will also find a visitor center with rotating exhibits and a gift shop where Howell Farm products, such as honey, maple syrup, and ground wheat can be purchased along with a variety of books, toys, crafts, and other farm related items.

We will either eat a picnic lunch or lunch at a local restaurant.

Last, we will drive to another farm for Horseback Riding. You will experience a nice leisurely guided ride through a state park by a large Lake.

The trails will lead you through pristine beautiful nature. The trail ride is both for novice and experienced riders.

We will drive back to NYC.
Arrival back to NYC at approximately 6:30 pm.
